The Road

An old man, travels down a long curvy road, with his donkey hauling vegetables for him to sell. On this road early in his journey he encountered a young man who stop him and ask him, how are the people from where you come from? Before he answered the old man ask the young man how do would you describe the people from where you are coming from? With a smug face the young man answer, irresponsible, rough, loud, lazy, cruel, rude, selfish, and miserable. The old man then told him then you will find the people from where I come from are the same way. They both walk away and continue on their journey.
Later in the afternoon, the old man stop to eat and give water to his donkey on this same curvy road. Just as he was about to leave another young man came up to him gave him a helping hand and bought some of his vegetables. Before leaving he was ask by this young man, how are the people from where you come from? The old man looked him in the eyes and ask him to describe the people from where he comes from. The young with a smile said they are honest, ambitious, hard-working, respectful, kind, and friendly. The old man then told him you will find the people from where I come from are the same way.
